You will then begin your journey to Banteay Srey will see you Journey with your Tuk Tuk and local guide through the relaxed vibe, colonial charm and stunning countryside of Cambodia. Banteay Srei or Banteay Srey is a 10th century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Banteay Srei is built largely of hard red sandstone that can be carved like wood. Once again your guide will be with you providing knowledge and bringing meaning to the many intricate carvings and three concentric rectangular enclosures. On route, you will stop to experience some Khmer cake

and also have the opportunity to try some Sugar Palm, both local speciality treats.

As you make your return from Banteay Srey you will stop to visit the Landmine Museum. A moment to reflect and understand the impact of the civil conflict in Cambodia and read some of the stories of the resilience and survival of the Cambodian people.

The afternoon tour will be completed by a peaceful journey back along the Temples and Jungle taking the Grand Circuit Temple route.

Following your arrival back to the Pavillon your guide will bid you farewell and then you will have time to be able to relax, and perhaps enjoy a cocktail by the pool, before heading out again to enjoy and experience the Apsara Dinner and show. Since 1997, Siem Reap’s oldest Theatre contributes to the revival of Khmer Traditional Dances and the preservation of Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage. Madam Net has been training dancers and promoting Khmer performing arts since the 1980s. Today, a troupe of 30 artists perform renditions of the ancient Reamker legends, and folk dances from rural Cambodia.
